IASB | Industry Attractiveness Business Strength Matrix

The IABS Matrix enables organizations with various projects to place strategic frameworks around where to allocate resources and prioritize.

In an organization with high business strength playing in a highly attractive industry, the prudent course of action is to grow, seek dominance and maximize investment. Should the business strength be medium, the company should evaluate potential for dominance via industry segmentation, identify competitive weaknesses and build strengths leveraging on those.

In a low, low environment, the organization should look to trust leader statesmanship, time their exit and divest accordingly.
